Łódź has recently become a popular destination for services centres. The large number of stu-dents, the city’s proximity to the capital and its rapid growth – new hotels, office buildings and shopping malls, as well as a more efficient transport network, have all contributed to Łódź’s growing attractiveness. Therefore, the available office space has quickly been leased out and construction of new offices is underway. The city authorities are also very actively drawing in new investors and helping the labour market grow.

For the last several years, Łódź has been undergoing positive changes. A steady inflow of investments, new shopping centres and numerous cultural events mean that the city is, slowly but surely, becoming a better place to work and live. The fact that the competition is already there motivates many companies to branch out into the city and draws in investors. Compared to previous years, we see that the citizens of Łódź are less eager to leave the city and often decide to stay and build a successful career in their hometown.
